About Abigail Bosco

Abigail Bosco is an experienced attorney with a strong background in litigation. Ms. Bosco, a native of Scottsdale, Arizona, has deep family ties (Fourth Generation) to Michigan and a special connection to the Traverse City area, which she now calls home. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School in May 2018. She is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Arizona.

While attending Notre Dame Law School, Ms. Bosco was a member of the Exoneration Project. She also participated in the Notre Dame Community Development Clinic, offering free non-litigation legal services to nonprofits and small businesses. Additionally, Ms. Bosco attended Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate, a summer study abroad program devoted to the art of trial advocacy, and received the award for the top cross-examination (St Andrews, Scotland). While still in law school, Ms. Bosco worked as a clerk at the Michigan Court of Appeals, where she researched and prepared briefs for the Honorable Judge Christopher Murray.

Ms. Bosco then joined the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office working as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, where she gained extensive litigation experience over the course of nearly five years. Ms. Bosco started in the Business Protection Unit and spent the last two years of her time as a Prosecutor in the Mortgage and Deed Fraud Unit, handling complex felony cases, including organized retail crime, armed robbery, breaking and entering, conducting a criminal enterprise, and various cases involving the fraudulent sale of real property.

Since joining Alward Fisher, Ms. Bosco has focused her practice on litigation, excelling in the courtroom to deliver favorable results for many clients. Ms. Bosco practices in the areas of business banking, evictions and foreclosures, business development, real estate, criminal law and general civil litigation. Ms. Bosco is passionate about advocating for her clients, both in and out of the courtroom. Ms. Bosco enjoys giving back to the surrounding community, currently serving on the Board of Governors and Officers for the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association, and the Board of Directors for the North Ed Foundation, a nonprofit organization working to connect the generosity of the community with students served by the Northwest Education Services and the Career Tech Center.

In her free time, Ms. Bosco enjoys running, fishing, archery, hunting, boating, playing euchre, and spending time with her black Labrador, Rio.
