About Edward Price
Edward Price is the Managing Partner of Alward Fisher. Ed concentrates his practice in the areas of business and real property transactions, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, creditor’s rights in bankruptcy, retail and commercial collections, banking, and estate planning. Ed received his B.S. from Methodist College (Business Administration with a concentration in Professional Golf Management), and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School Of Law, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property Law Journal.
Ed has over 20 years of experience meeting the legal and general counsel needs of all sizes of businesses, from startup ventures, to banks and credit unions, and to multi-million dollar enterprises. His practice spans multiple industries, including real estate, finance, and technology. Prior to returning to private practice in 2009, Ed served as general counsel for a U.S.-based real estate developer with projects located in Qatar, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
Although relocating to Michigan over 12 years ago, in addition to assisting clients from our Traverse City office, Ed continues to actively practice and assist clients in Maryland through Zoom conferences. Ed enjoys golf, watching his beloved Baltimore Orioles, and spending time with his wife Jane, and three children – Adler, Grady, and Harper.
