About Elizabeth McLachlan

Elizabeth McLachlan is an attorney whose practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and creditor’s bankruptcy. She earned her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2020 and began her legal career as the judicial assistant to the Probate Judge of Grand Traverse County. In that role, she developed a deep understanding of probate proceedings and trust litigation—experience that now informs and strengthens her work in private practice. Elizabeth holds a certificate in the area of Probate and Estate Planning issued by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

After relocating to Traverse City with her husband, Elizabeth has made Northern Michigan home. She takes pride in helping individuals and families plan for the future, resolve disputes, and navigate key life transitions with clarity and care.
